What’s the difference between copper, platinum, and iridium spark plugs?

  • Copper plugs – cheaper, good conductivity, but shorter lifespan (30–50k km).
  • Platinum plugs – longer-lasting (up to 80k km), better resistance to wear.
  • Iridium plugs – premium choice, last the longest (100k+ km), deliver stronger spark and better efficiency.

Bosch and NGK/NTK offer iridium and platinum plugs widely used by manufacturers for modern engines.
